Great for my son's science project.
JAKE•January 6, 2018
Great for my son's science project! Easy to follow instructions. Works as advertised.
Amazingly accurate.

It's scary how accurate this is. I've tested it on the stairs, hills, while driving, and in a plane. The numbers always matched the altimeter in the plane's dash. I don't know how it works, I just know it works well.
Flys High with 4 stars

Perfect size for using with my Chroma camera drone. Works as advertised and is pretty accurate. I would recommend this product to all AMA members to use with their RC planes and quad-copters.
Not durable enough if you have a hard landing (battery overheats/melts)
R. K. G.•January 14, 2017
I like the Jolly Logic because of the nice screen, etc., and as long as you always have soft landings and it's well protected with cushion, I think it's a decent product. That said, one hard landing caused my battery to implode on itself, overheat, and then fry the whole device on the first day of use. This was annoying. I have since had much better luck with the FireFly altimeter, which has easily survived numerous hard landings. It's annoying to read, but more durable and it seems to be just as accurate, if not more so (we checked all flights with a clinometer as well).
Excellent RC altimeter...

I purchased this altimeter after reading the Positive reviews. I needed an altimeter to measure the altitudes I fly several of my powered gliders. This unit performs perfectly & being quite small, has no detrimental effect on my gliders flight. The battery lasts quite long as I have been out on several outings without charging & not any issues. Highly recommend.
