I use a lot of MMA and Muay Thai gear. My boyfriend is a very strong guy so making sure I'm protected with top notch quality pads is a priority for me. I wanted this waist pad for awhile now. It's great. Absorbs so much of the blows and doesnt effect stand up stance too badly. Still felt some of the impact from a few good knee strikes but kicks and punches were minimized to easily tolerable impacts (from 6'2" 230lbs and 6' 200lbs men). Maybe it absorbed about 85%.
Take shots all day!!!

Are you looking for something to wear as you take a muay thai fighter's full power shot from squatdog?? Then look no further! This is a very good quality body shield at a ridiculous price. It is quite surprising how little you feel from someone's full strength roundhouse whilst wearing this. I highly recommend this body shield. you team mates will thank you and your ribs will thank you as well.

I love it! I bought this for my husband to wear while i punch him! which he volunteered for lol lol!! Kidding but not kidding. I use to go to kickboxing class but found it to be EXTREMELY expensive so i purchase one of these with some boxing gloves, and we work out like that. i love it. he doesn't feel any punches or kicks that i throw. it is very tiring if you giving it your all. The straps are adjustable and the belt is as well. I would recommend wearing a t shirt. so the straps do not slide off. But overall this is a great product for at home workout

The stitching is not good it's starting to tear and the foam is coming out. It's good for beginners that don't punch hard.
