Very handy for any Minister or even Public speaker. I needed it to look more professional for my Public speaking classes, that were recorded each semester. This is a sturdy product, with a good finish. It was so easy to put together that my 15yr. old daughter assembled it for me. It's pretty tall. Everywhere else I checked offered outrageous prices. The Mahogany Lectern even let's me put my laptop on it without falling. The front storage comes in handy as well.

We used this to replace a slightly lighter podium that was so badly damaged it was embarrassing to have it in the squad room. Now, it did have a couple barely noticeable chips in it, which I actually expected. It's clean, smooth and sturdy.
What I absolutely hate about it is the packaging material. Seriously, it was a hindrance. You need a good hose on a vaccuum and a least one massive rubbish bag. The Styrofoam guarding this thing was static as hell and big. When I broke it down, all the bits came off and attached to everything.
Took me 30 minutes to clean up the packaging material.

This is a very sturdy (and heavy) lectern. It is spacious and solid. Easy to put together. The only small problem are the pins to hold the shelf - you'll need a hammer to make sure they stay in the hole. Great price and very quick delivery.
