I purchased one for my husband for his collection of helmuts and it was of such good quality and the display was perfect. It was so perfect, I purchased one for my brother as a surprise. I first sent him the helmuts from both divisions and had them scattered around his window as a display. However, I told him to wait for something else. When he received the case, he was so over emotional and never thought of doing that.

Really nice case. Good quality, made well. I am using it to display my Ridell SEC Mini-Helmets as well as my vintage NFL gumball helmets. To keep them in place, I used Loctite Fun-Tak Mounting Tabs. Works like a charm.

Very nice quality with one caveat. I would highly recommend hanging this on the wall. If you sit it on a shelf and wish to open the door, you need to put your hand on top and hold the case upright as the weight of the door will tip the case forward and all of the helmets will fall out. My 11-year old son got a bit frustrated after his helmet collection was dumped several times when he opened the door to add one. Despite the description, which claims it comes with hardware already installed on the back to mount to the wall, ours did not. We will be purchasing hardware and mounting to the wall to insure the helmets aren't dumped again. This is fine for an adult who is going to put the helmets in and leave them, but my son likes to organize them by each team's record, so he enjoys opening it and moving them around. Still a very quality piece - just not ideal for a shelf.
