This makes horses very shiny using just 2 ounces a day- more may be needed for weight gain/maintenance. Initially, we started using this because it has a better omega-3 to omega-6 ratio than other oils and therefore better for them in terms of inflammation, but I was shocked how dramatically shiny it made them! They like the taste as well. Also, the bottle design makes it easy to measure without separate messy measuring cups.
