You don't always realize how good something is until you have a context. I liked this a lot on first taste. But tasting next to a supermarket brand was a revelation, This is darker, more complex, with hints of molasses. The supermarket brand is sweet, easy and broadly flavored, using the sugar to gain fans. This is so superior, it's not close.

Excellent maple syrup! I love Crown's other flavors so had to try this one. Packaged in perfect condition (Crown box inside an Amazon box with filling), and it tastes superb! Smoky, sweet, strong maple flavor. Definitely will reorder this when I run out!

Definitely the best maple syrup we have tasted. This is phenomenal. Such a lovely rich taste- it hasn't lasted long because everyone loves it. The kids top their ice cream with it and i also bake with it and add it to whipped cream. It tastes amazing!

This very dark maple has a wonderful robust maple flavor and a lovely smooth viscosity. We like it much more than the light amber version (which was also good but had a very subtle maple flavor). We have enjoyed the very dark flavor on pancakes, breakfast cereals, and in our coffee. It's a nice specialty product to enjoy on the weekends or for those extra special meals.
