Tremendous value - Don't get ripped off by drug stores

Great boot. Hard to see how they can sell it for the low price. Drug stores want $245 for the exact same item. The boot fits perfectly and only takes a few minutes to get used to the walking motion. Read the instructions and watch the YouTube fitting video if you are not initially fitted by a professional. Excellent quality. I wear men's size 12-13, and the Large works fine. Don't over tighten, but experiment to find the right strap tightness..
Worked great for my broken metatarsal bone

Top Velcro can wear out quickly, with having to adjust it throughout the day. Worked great for my broken metatarsal bone, as I was on my feet 16+ hours a day. The boot came with numerous little pads you can put wherever you need to increase comfort. Company was great about replacing my first boot when the Velcro failed. Highly recommend this boot and this company.

This boot has made a world of difference in the recovery of fractures I have in my shin and ankle. Two things to note when buying this: 1) I wear a US Men's 10.5 shoe and the Medium size boot fits great and even has some extra room (I'm pretty sure Men's 11 would fit perfectly fine too) 2) buy a shoe balancer (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006IUU2TK/) to avoid added stress to your hip / back from the uneven height. Seriously, it should come as a combo because without the balancer you're going to be seriously uncomfortable.
Pros:
- Liner padding is comfortable
- The boot overall is sturdy
- Curve of the heel helps keep ankle locked in place but allowing a more natural walk and allows you to not compensate with your knee
Cons:
- Without a balancer the uneven height was causing pain in my opposite hip.
- Liner is hot. I need to open it up and let my leg breathe a couple of times a day.
- Heel backstop is low and created some discomfort against my Achilles until I added some padding to it
Overall this boot was a much better option than getting a full cast, and cheaper than what my insurance was trying to force on me. I'm able to walk relatively freely with much less pain than not having it on. I'd buy this again if I needed to, without a 2nd thought.

An OK budget version - it does its job for protection

I got this as a back up boot when I broke my foot and had to wear a walker boot for three months. I still walked a couple miles a day and alternated or replaced boots every two or three weeks. This boot was NOT the best of the bunch. The lighter version with three straps that I got from the doctors office and later found the exact thing online while doing a search for braces was by far the best. This cam walker was the heaviest and most cumbersome to use, however it was cheaper and I have to admit, well constructed on the bottom of the boot. If you are not going to be doing a lot of walking or just staying inside the house, you will probably like this boot. If you are still going to be active as possible and walk a lot outside on the pavement or concrete, you might decide "you get for what you pay for".
Such a Savings!

My boyfriend sustained a broken ankle this summer in a motorcycle accident. The insurance was not enough to cover anything, so we were looking to save every penny we could. This worked very well, and the doctor at the orthopedic center remarked that it was every bit as nice as any he'd seen, but far less expensive. If you need something more exact and supportive, you might need a version with the inflatable pads, instead of this type, which just uses soft foam padding. The Large size fit his size 11 foot well.
