I've been buying these wipes since my daughter was born over a year ago. There are two main reasons for this. First, they're moist but not too moist. When you have to change diapers as much as you do, you would rather use a wipe that has a little more moisture to it to keep you child's bottom from becoming raw. I compare it to when you have a cold - if you're blowing your nose all day, you don't want the dry kleenex. You want the moist ones so it's not as rough on your skin. The same concept applies to these wipes. Second, they're natural and fragrance free. There aren't a bunch of additives thrown into the mix to aggravate your baby's skin. I know there are cheaper alternatives out there but in the long run, wouldn't you rather pay a little more for your child's comfort?

These wipes do the job and more. I've been using them for both my children and will continue to do so. They're thick and durable and clean any mess. They are moist without feeling soapy (a different brand of wipes I tried had a slick, soapy, slimy feeling that was unpleasant). And they're very soft, even when they dry. I once forgot an unused wipe on the changing table, and when I found it, it had dried completely. I used it as a tissue to blow my nose - it was very comfortable!

I don't recommend letting these wipes dry just to use them as tissue, of course. But I have also used them (wet) to remove makeup from my face, clean hands before a picnic, wipe mud from bare feet.... Most of the time, I just use them on my babies' bottoms. I've been very happy with their performance everywhere.

I've bought and tried many brands of wipes. But every time, I come back to Huggies Natural wipes. Here are 3 reasons why I keep buying Huggies Natural... #1: it's natural and fragrance-free so I don't need to worry about exposing my baby to more chemicals, especially in sensitive areas (which is where we mostly use the wipes). #2: These wipes feel solid and thick. Other brands feel thin and don't wipe well because they get caught. But Huggies Natural wipes is thick enough to follow where my hand wants to wipe. And it's solid so I don't worry that anything is coming through onto my hand. #3: These wipes are tear-able... they can be torn in half. This helps during the newborn stage when you don't need a full wipe. You can tear these in half and have twice as many wipes for your newborn. I've tried other brands and many don't tear or don't tear well. Huggies Natural is very easy to tear in half. Only tear them in half while your baby is small. As baby grows, you'll need the full wipe. I highly recommend Huggies Natural wipes. This is the one we buy the most and keep coming back to.

I have not had a problem with the new formula at all. They are still firm enough for me, even if they aren't as thick as some other brands. The problem of them "drying" at the top isn't something that I have noticed unless the bag gets left unsealed, and I have been using one of the bags without a dispenser for about six months now, just sealing it up as I go. I imagine if the moisture ever pooled at the bottom of the bag, I would turn the thing upside down and let gravity undo what it did in the first place. Like I said, though, I've never experienced such a phenomenon. Maybe it's the California climate versus whatever desert or elevation is causing issues? Who knows! All I know is that for around $20, I'm not going to find a better deal in any store anywhere near here at all. If you use disposable wipes, the cost is always going to be a factor, and even if this comes with less than it used to, it's still a fantastic value.

Oh, and they've never bothered my babe's skin. All skin is different, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. +1 for non-irritated baby bottom!

SEPARATE USES, in case you're into that:
The hubby loves keeping these in the bathroom, too. They're great for him, they're great for cleaning the light blue iPad case I bought that gets dirty easily, they're great for spot-cleaning things that require mild soap/non-abrasive scrubbing, they are soothing in some situations, and are generally just handy. I'll probably continue to buy them even when the kids don't need them anymore.

Much cheaper buying in bulk like this. Fragrance free and has no harsh chemicals. Sturdy and does not come apart. We've used this for the past 2 years, and they have never irritated the little one. Other brands have allot of fragrance, which I don't like. Has minimal chemicals compared to many other brands. Amazon has the best price, very cheap compared to buying at a brick and mortar store.
