It's a $15 machete. Very heavy which is not necessarily a bad thing. Did arrive very sharp . Grips came pretty loose but nothing some grip tape won't fix, would have done that anyways. Really cheesy sheath. OK for around the house not really something you would want to have strapped to your back. Too damn heavy. All in all OK for 15 bucks.

Doesn't come sharpened its dull, looks nice has a useful sleeve but that's about it ,look at something else sorry I didn't look elsewhere

I have put this thing through its paces and I love it. It feels much more solid than some jungle style machetes and seems to be capable of cutting through thicker materials as well. Works best on living material, but I have also gotten it to cut through tougher dry branches also. The only thing that hasn't held up to my abuse is the handle. A rivet on one side fell out so the wood on that side was swinging around on its own, pivoting around the second rivet. Nothing some duct tape couldn't fix though! It might be a little bulkier and heaver than other machetes but I think that definitely helps in cutting through larger branches. This thing definitely lives up to its name.

Christ. This thing will clear the hell out of some brush. Will chop some branches but i wouldn't put all your might behind it. Sheath is ok. Just mind where your hand is, there's an open area on the back. As long as you're not a nimrod just weilding the thing and pulling the thing out like you're Adventure Jones, you'll be ok. I sewed it all up with some black bank thread though.
