Nice but sized too small

Very good half-sole dance shoes but they are sized waaaaay too small. I ordered a size small for my 10 year old daughter who wears a size 2 1/2 shoe and it was too tight for her to wear. We will try the medium because I do like the shoes very much. 4 stars for sizing- I would have given 5 stars if they had put a disclaimer to buy one size up.

This is perfect for protecting the balls of my feet but I think the fit is a bit tight for most people. It might stretch over time but I got a medium as I am a 7.5 shoe. My feet happen to be narrow and these are snug. Not too uncomfortable but I imagine many people would find them too tight so get a larger size if you are a bit wider.
ETA: after 3 wears, these slipped and bunched up uncomfortably. Tossed them into a donation bin.

My daughter was right on the edge of 2 sizes so I went with the larger because she has wider feet. Fit her great. She is really happy with them and they don't fall off her feet while dancing.

I love these dance shoes! The only downside is some colors/patterns cost twice as much as others. I'm sure it's by popularity, but I had to click on each option to find the lower priced ones. Since they are for practice mostly, I don't want to spend too much. But they help with turns and the support makes relevé much less tiring. I wear size 8.5 tending to narrow (but not quite) and the medium is the right fit for me. And these pink ones are very very bright. ;) I also have the black with rhinestones and the tan with black lace.
