this was my first time to install a vent, the vents came fast and at a good price, but the thing that I didn't know was that the garnish is to short, and now I have 3 garnishes that are no good to me. I suggest the depth of the garnish be added to the description. I need 3 inch garnish, which I now have to purchase separately and makes the cost of the vent more.
not like the flange on the unit I replaced

Received Item promptly, I have installed it and it fits the existing vent hold very well. The first thing I noticed is that it was made in China. The metal flange mount is very thin and flexible, not like the flange on the unit I replaced. In fact one corner of the flange was bent when I took it out of the shipping container. Installation was breeze and the duck seal in the package was more that sufficient to seal around the flange. In fact, I double up on the duck seal to assure a good tight fit. Note there are no screws in the package so you have to use the screws holding the old vent in.
This new vent cover is awesome!! Replacing the old vent with this one ...

This new vent cover is awesome!! Replacing the old vent with this one was super easy! The vent came with all the screws and the sticky tape you need! The only thing was that the plastic piece that goes on the inside of your travel trailer was very short. The height of our old one was probably 6 or 7 inches and the height of the new one was about 1 or 2. (We didnt measure). Sooo we just kep the old one on the insde of the travel trailer. No biggie. But otherwise this product is worth it!

This was so easy to put in. Plus my husband was very excited it had so many screws to keep it in place. He replaced an older vent that only had 4 screws--and it leaked.
This is also a brighter white than the old vent, which lets better light into the camper.
We plan to buy another one to replace the other older vent--especially now that my husband put this one in and saw how easy it was.
