I've got an ancient old iguana who was a rescue from an abusive situation. He's pretty picky about what he eats but so far he really likes this product. Iguanas are attracted by bright colors probably because of their vegetarian feeding preferences and especially for their liking of some sorts of flowers (hibiscus, yum, yum). I've given him other products that are not colorful and he sticks his nose up and stares at me accusingly until I buy him some more of this. Most iggy owners will tell you that it's bad to keep your pet on an all dry food diet but I've had a local vet tell me that there is no research to prove that. I've got a friend with two iggies that feeds nothing but dry and they are huge healthy lizards. When feeding dry you're supposed to soak it but mine doesn't care about that as long as there is a fresh water supply right next to the crunchies...once soaked they don't last long and there is a lot of waste that way. My pet is pretty fat and sassy and his poops are normal (one way you can tell an iggy's general overall health). About the only other food I've found that he likes more than this are the pre moistened (they look jelly like) iguana bites which are pretty expensive for what you get. The small container of this is expensive for 8 bucks in the pet store, this is a much better deal and there is even a five pound bag available at some online stores if you have a number of lizard kids. I can't comment on what it tastes like but if a wizened old picky eater likes it then it must be ok and it's the only brand I've seen that is colored like this one is and that attracts them to the food dish. They also make a version of the food for baby iggies, my friend fed that to his and they grew up fine too.

My iguana loves it, not only do I supplement her fresh food with it, but she even enjoys them as a single pellet treat ðŸ˜

Can't beat the price

I received the package on time but unfortunately the jar was busted open and the food was everywhere. I tried to save most of it but i did loose some of it. Kinda bummed. :/

Only thing seems to dry out quickly.
