(me) it brings it up a notch . I am the designated 'ironer' in the household --by default. I have always dreaded lifting that ironing board out and opening it up (the older I get the more difficult the task). This , I just roll out of the closet it is stored in , plug in the iron and do the deed. I subtracted a star from 'sturdiness' because it is a bit less sturdy than a traditional board , but not bad. My husband and I dreaded receiving it as we figured it would be a boxful of screws and rods and take a long time to assemble--- It only took a tightening of a screw or so and it was ready. TY! I just lay the pole on top and only use it if I have a lot of ironing to do. I used my old ironing board cover that has a drawstring that tightened it and it fit the smaller board. It was worth the $$s for me.

Rod not stable. Needs a hole locker or needs to be screw type attachment. The board frame needs lock to keep from folding too easily.

The media could not be loaded. I live in a small space, so this is a great product for my apartment. The laundry bags a smaller than I expected, I've added a picture of my old hamper in comparison. Guess I'll have to do laundry for often! The sturdiness is fair. Other reviewers have commented on It's shakiness and I've included a video showing some harder iron strokes to hopefully display this. I kind of wish it weren't on wheels as I will leave it stationary, but the added height is needed. Speaking of height, I am 6', and it doesn't feel too low for me. As for the wheels themselves, two of the casters can lock, but the it's not the tightest of locks. Imagine trying to drive w the parking break on, you'll still move a bit.

The Chronic problem: where to put the ironing board. It has been in my walk-in closet for 19 years; it has been in the way for 19 years and when I am rushed, it also acts as a shelf to pile things on. That made it a chore to iron anything. It also made it difficult to get to my clothes. So this product answered the call. It is spacey enough to iron clothes properly, it is compact enough for me to keep it against the wall in the laundry room always ready to go. I also like the added storage beneath and the arm above to hang clothes. This was the simplest thing to put together, no tools or four letter words were needed. All in all, if you need to keep an ironing board out and ready to go and have limited space, this one is for you, hands down.

So far I really like this ironing board/laundry sorter. It was super easy to put together and I love that it can easily fold if I need to get it out of the way. It has a spot to lay your iron down which was a must have for me. I also love that I can hang my clothes on the pole attached if I need to steam the clothes. I also hang up my clothes on the pole after I iron to keep them nice until I'm able to put the clothes away. The iron slides back and forth also in the event you need to iron pleats. The laundry sorter bags are just the right size and are very convenient. The cost was even cheaper than a plain ironing board so it's definitely worth the money. However the ironing board is not extremely long but works perfect for me and my needs.
