I used this tape to put a small spoiler on my Kia Soul. It is incredibly sticky and I don't think the spoiler is going anywhere.

3M products are amazing and I stand behind every product they release. I previously used this tape to mount up my rear diffuser for my car and it held up really great for almost a year. I decided to re-mount the diffuser again since it was a bit crooked so I went ahead and purchased another roll of these heavy duty 3M double sided tape! The best part is that these do not hurt your paint at all, I was able to peel everything off with ease using the 3M Adhesive Remover product!

I bought this tape to use in a project for my 2016 WRX. The dealership provided me some Aero trim pieces for the rear bumper, and one of them was installed poorly. The alignment was awful and the look was distasteful.
My plan was to remove the poorly installed piece and reinstall. However, I was concerned about what I was going to use to make sure the trim is firmly adhered to the bumper such as it is with the factory installed tape. I was so HAPPY to say that this tape turned out to be exactly what is installed on the trim piece from the factory, and carefully following the directions will result in an extremely tight installation. This panel will not flap in the wind, break off, or melt off with this 3M tape product. This is truly automotive grade.
To remove, apply heat with a heat gun on low for a moderate period of time, and pull with firm pressure. You can use a plastic razor, GumOut and heat to remove the remaining residue.

This product rocks...I used it for the exterior moldings that were coming off my car...there is a trick. First set your car in the sun. Second using a razor romove all debris. Third clean every thing with alcohol many times throughly, yes even cloth because I used it for that too. Let everything dry. Then using a hair dryer warm up one side where the tape needs to go. Peel the tape and stick it on and let it sit for 15 minutes. Repeat for the other side of the tape.
