Yu-Yake: I don't even like orange that much, but this has become one of my favorites recently. The color is a light orange that darkens to a red-orange with saturation. The flow is nice and wet, and the shading is phenomenal. My picture doesn't do it justice (No good lighting at home). I recommend mountainofink.com for a better demonstration of it. I definitely recommend. Ajisai: Once again, a well-behaved, wet ink. It's a pretty blurple color with a bit of shading (possibly more with a bigger nib). Iroshizuku is becoming my go-to ink brand now. Ku-Jaku: I think you get the point.

This is a very silky writing ink. I've used it with dip pens, Pilot Fine and Lamy medium nib fountain pens. I've used it on cheap notebook paper as well as Tomoe River 52gm and Rhodia 80gm as well as others. It has performed consistently perfectly and smoothly on all papers. So happy for this brand! I've used several other Iroshizuku colors and they are by far my favorite and most trustworthy. The bottle also is designed so I can get every single drop of ink out! Gets my highest recommendation!

I use journals for almost everything I do, from home projects to working in the aviation field! Beautiful bottle and presentation. Pretty ink and flows well in my Lamy. If you are expecting more purple, move to a different color.
