I love these. I got them four years ago. I'm 5'5", with a long torso, big tummy and small butt. They're flattering to me. I bought size 8 and I was about 140-145 lbs or so (most in belly and boobs). They fit great. I lost weight and was under 130 for a summer. I could cinch them tight with the drawstring (it's mostly for looks- it just laces at the very front, but it was enough to keep them on.) Now I'm over 155... lost track. I can get them on, but there's no tying the drawstring shut! I'm ordering a size 10 today. Oh, there's no panty. My size 8 was white, and quite sheer, so I wore a white bikini underneath. I'm ordering the grey this time and maybe I'll go commando. OH! and I have that fat between my thighs (so attractive). When I take the kids to White Water (super fun water amusement park in OKC), by the end of the day my inner thighs are kinda sore and red from the seam. But I don't sit in a chaise lounge. I cliff jump, go on every slide, navigate the obstacle course, all of it! Woo hoo! This doesn't stop me from ordering this new pair, either, because I like the fit. Hmmm... but maybe I shouldn't go commando...Photo is size 8 on a 155-160lbs me- notice they don't close anymore. But the fly has a back panel so you still don't see my belly, at least.

Very cute shorts but I had to return twice because of the reviews to order up. I'm usually a size 4 or 6, I wanted to shorts to be on the larger size so I ordered an 8. They were extremely big so I returned for a 6 and they were still very big so I now have to return the shorts again. I recommend ordering your proper size.

These seem like very nice quality board shorts, but they run big and I had to return them. Cinched as tight as it would go the size 0 was still much too big. They slid way down and also gaped around my legs. Based on the size chart, I would have expected them to fit. I have 34.5 hips and a 25.5 waist (more like 28 where I like to have my shorts sit, but these are at least 30 at the waist when tied as tightly as possible).

Got two. The inseam is the perfect length to cover the upper thighs, which are not as glorious to behold as they once were thirty years ago. The lagoon is a little bit greener than pictured. No real quality issues. Fit pretty much as expected.

I purchase these a size larger than I typically wear, but they were huge! I'm 5'7" and 160 pounds and the size 12 fell off of me. I returned it and ordered a size 10, but am a little concerned they will fall off too. Otherwise, I liked the material and the cut/fit.
