WELL DESIGNED, LIGHT WEIGHT, DURABLE, GREAT CART
Susan Bradley✓ Verified Purchase•August 4, 2017
I had an earlier version of this cart in chartreuse (for over 10 years and a 1000 miles of city walking). It was fantastic in every way--good maneuverability, durability, ease of use, light weight, attractive, etc. The cart was still going strong, although looking worn and tires thinning. So I bought this newer version and so glad I did. It's redesigned to be a bit wider at the top and now has a plastic liner for folks who insist on loading it with ice, and side pockets as well. The wheels are now wider and plastic rather than rubber. I was a bit worried about that when I saw them but on a test walk they did great. More stable than the thinner wheels and no noise as some reviewers have reported with other brands. And what a great price. In short, I LOVE it!
Cooler...or very nifty photography gear cart

I use this to haul my photography gear and it's the best little cart. The wheels worked great while pulling it through a large, grassy field and even pulled well when I trekked through a dirt path. It's big enough to store my lenses in their pouches and I am able to put a camera bag inside. My tripod fits nicely in the side pocket and there is plenty of extra space for small items. It's waterproof and the insulation inside works to keep my equipment safe from water and heat. I like that the bag comes off the frame making it easy to put it in the car or to store the whole thing in the closet.
Serves it's purpose very well. Very smooth pulling!

I bought this for two purposes. 1) To take to the grocery which is about a half mile from my home and 2) to transport my laundry to and from the laundry room a hundred yards away. I am very pleased with my purchase. My only complaint is that it doesn't hold as much as I thought it would. That is at least partly my fault for either not taking note of the dimensions or not visualizing them properly. Regardless, it has held up well to hard use so far. Also it is extremely easy to pull. It is smooth rolling even when I need to go over grass. On paved surfaces it is perfect. The large wheels make it easy to go up and down steps. For other people's reference about the size, if I really pack it in, it will hold about 1 1/2 laundry baskets full of clothes. As far as groceries, of course that depends on what you buy. It took me a couple trips to get the idea of how much I could buy at the grocery and still get it all in. Another good point is that once it is full, some other items can be tied to the loop or bottom handle and can ride on top of the main section. I've accomplished this with very little trouble, but I do need to pay attention or they may slide off and hang down the side. As far as keeping things cold, it seems to work very well. We've had record heat here every day this summer and it has kept ice cream frozen on the way home from the grocery. That's not very far and doesn't take very long, but it gives you the idea that it is effective. Be sure to check the prices for the different colors. I wanted to get the blue one, but it was a significant amount more than this one. I find it easier to pull than to push. YMMV.
Works fine for occasional use & lighter loads - but difficult to use on inclines or w/ heavy loads, handle maybe too short

I've used this quite a lot to haul groceries from the store to my apartment. I've had some interesting encounters/comments from using this - from older ladies asking where they could get one, to homeless people telling asking if they could have it or telling me they wish they could get away with using something so "big and flashy" (I got the red because it was the cheapest at the time). Anyhow...
I do like that the trolley folds in half for ease of storage. I have not had any issues with the wheels coming off - though I have only used it on paved surfaces. It comes with a liner that attaches via velcro, as well as a vinyl board to put across the bottom to stabilize the surface. Size-wise, this fits about 8 half gallons (4 stacked on top of 4). I normally buy 4 half gallons (2 OJ, 2 milk), and then have an additional 1 or 2 grocery bags in this and it still have a bit of room to spare.
That being said, I haven't found this to be terribly practical for more than occasional use. When it's fully loaded it's veryyy difficult to pull behind you, especially up any sort of incline. I found another trolley that has another set of wheels that can be pulled out out so that it can be pushed forward - like a stroller, and much prefer that one - though the bag actually fits on that other trolley, so I still use the bag. Additionally, I've since seen many carts just like these at Ikea, Ross, etc. that are exactly the same as this one, but cheaper. I also don't think the handle is long enough for most people to use comfortably - I am 5' 3" and the handle is about right for me.
I do think this cart is fine for occasional use, for lighter loads, or non-hilly paved roads if the load is heavier. I just don't think the wheel design lends itself well to heavy loads.

Cool idea, poor engineering

Carriage and it's wheels are great, the cooler is good, but smaller than expected. The side pockets are next to worthless since they are bound so tightly to the main bag, that once the cooler is full, you can't put anything in the side pockets. Worst of all, the straps that hold it to the carriage are stitched weakly and do not have enough slack to allow for easy on-and-off action for the cooler. So unless you have a van, truck, or SUV and can leave the cooler on the carriage permanently, this may not be the item for you. I bought straps to hold it to the carriage, and while they work, it looks like a make-shift contraption. I had to replace the bottom strap after removing the cooler for only the second time. After 4 uses, the top strap is about to go. But what do you expect for $40? I really wish Igloo would realize they need to put larger wheels on their coolers.
