I probably would not purchase this brand again since I realized they don't recommend using the brush in bowl to whip up the lather which is how I shave. I have nothing negative to say on the quality of the product and in my 1 month of use the brush did not shed at all. The X1 size however for me was a bad choice on my part. I think due to the smaller size, the brush is very "drippy" which I had not experienced on my first inexpensive starter brush which was larger. If I did purchase a different brush it would be the X3 size as my $25 Vikings Blade brush is giving me a much better experience.

This is a really nice all-around brush. 21mm knot is large enough to lather face or bowl and soft enough for most. There's a reason the Commodores are amongst the best sellers in the mid-price range. They work!
