It's exactly what it claims to be, a director's megaphone. It works perfectly fine, and it looks quite nice. There are exactly two problems that I had with it that prevent it from being five-star. (1) The little clip that holds the gold trim around the output end didn't ship quite right, but I was able to readjust it just fine. (2) My knuckles kind of scrape against the joint where the cone is put together. That's it for negatives. The thing works great and is sufficiently loud to be heard across many hundred feet.

Arrived in a soft cardboard box that was moderately crushed with a hole in it. Surprisingly, the megaphone was unscathed. Very light weight plastic...weighs just a few ounces. Doesn't sit completely flush upright, but not that noticeable. Not worth 20$, more along the $8-$10 range. I am using it strictly as a prop in my TV room. Colors are strong and looks good on my fireplace.

It will definitely fit my needs, however, upon opening the box, I found a little bent out of shape. Not too badly though so no big deal. But seller could have used a slightly larger box to avoid bending. Otherwise, very happy!
