Clear has a slight tint to it, not a good night lens for cycling
Kevin Quosig✓ Verified PurchaseNovember 13, 2017
This was the first of the I-Force spoggles I bought (clear), and I liked them well enough I bought the amber and smoke later. I bought these for cycling use in rainy and cold weather.

Fit was decent; not quite perfect, but comfortable. Anti-fog works very well, no issues in rain and humidity.

My problem was this: I used this in the early morning before sunrise and on normal city streets it seemed okay. The dual lenses do cause a bit of "starbursting" on point light sources, but no worse than raindrops do anyway and tolerable in exchange for the fog-proofness.

However, once I got onto truly dark back roads I realized something was odd about my bicycle's headlight...it seemed very bright at the edges and dark in the middle. Then it occurred to me that the contrast was off, so I thought to lift the spoggles up and, wow, everything was better and more evenly lit without them!

So I can only deduce:

--This "clear" lens is in fact tinted, maybe 5"“10% but enough to throw off night vision and diminish the effectiveness of light sources.

--Worse, I think the tint is not strictly smoke/black but has some color to it which is reducing contrast or at least cutting out certain wavelengths of the light.

For reference, I am using a Busch & Muller light, which is a nice white without being blue-white (so maybe a nice 5000K hue?) and is well aimed (since these lights have great horizontal cutoff).

Furthermore, I compared the clear I-Force spoggles against my usual clear lens for my Smith Optics V2 Max sunglasses: The V2 clear lens is as-advertised (absolutely clear) and the I-Force clear is not.

Can't recommend if you're looking for some cycling spoggles for night use.
Great truly fog free for a great price!

Don't pay double for the "name brand" version of these goggles. They are 100% identical to the retail version save for the logo. They have not fogged up on once. They perform better than other supposed "fog free" goggles that cost 3x as much (Save Phace, I'm looking at you). They have stood up to direct airsoft BB hits, drops and rolling around in my gear box.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again!
... silver and black mirror anti-fog glasses and I'm very happy with the purchase

I purchase the silver and black mirror anti-fog glasses and I'm very happy with the purchase. I purchased these for eyewear protection regarding the shooting range however these are more intended for outdoor shooting. I will still get use out of them for the outdoor range but buyers beware of the type that you're ordering because if you're wanting specifically indoor I would recommend just the clear ones or a clear anti-fog. I could probably still use these inside but I have another pair that I will opt to use inside since these are more for outdoors. I haven't used them yet but I was able to test out the anti-fog with the temperature increase when I open the package from being on the cold truck, so I know that function works properly. I would definitely buy them again and recommend this to others. Thanks!
Great for winter cycling

Great for winter cycling. Keeps the eyes nice and moist. It will fit snug but the deep red indentations wear off by lunchtime (assuming you arrive to work at 6 am). I have to explain to people that I did not get into a fight each and every morning. Fortunately I'm developing calluses that don't show as prominent erythema. Must buy for commuting on bike in the winter.
Overall, not bad.....

I work in a metal shop, so I have to wear ear protection ( ear muffs) as well as eye protection. Traditional glasses ( with bayonets) have created a pressure sore, making it very uncomfortable.

First, they look very durable. Easy to change from bayonets to strap. First thing wrong was one strap was on backwards, which means i had to twist the strap, potentially creating a fail point.

The glasses provide an amazing seal. I wore these outdoors ( where it was in the 20s) and th area covered by the glasses were warm.

Now the negative....

The size adjustment ended up around my ears, creating a pinch point. Over time, it became very uncomfortable,. Tried adjusting the strap, ended up losing the seal and the glasses no longer held a comfortable position.

Next night, tried the bayonets. I couldn't wear them for more than an hour before remong them and going back to my old pair of glasses.

Lesson learned, don't wear these with ear muffs. I'm sure with ear plugs they would be fine.

Either way, I'm keeping these.
