Our penguin is almost 8 months old now!

I gave this to a coworker for her birthday in October. It is now June and the penguin is still going strong. When you take him out of the water he shrinks and gets really small, so add him back in the water to make him big again. It was super cute and cant believe it's lasted this long!
Shipping was a tad slow but expected around holidays

Box was a little crushed when we received it. Hoping the egg isn't cracked. Other than that, I know my penguin loving child will like it. *Update: egg wasn't cracked but my kid got so excited that he broke the egg himself anyways.

Its okay. Product does what it says it will, grows bigger and hatched out of the shell but afterwards I just threw them away. The penguin shrinks and starts falling apart. Its a once then throw away type of toy and I hate wasting my money that way. With that said though the product does what its supposed to do. Kids did enjoy watching and waiting and waiting and waiting for the penguin to hatch, but they ended up helping him along as it was taking so long. I would recommend this particular product to anyone that was looking for this specific type of toy though.

The egg didn't quite hatch... it more or less dissolved. It was still fun and my son loved watching it everyday. Each time we left the house he talked about what his penguin was doing and what it would look like when we got home. It provided lots of fun conversations!
