was on vacation and forgot my binoculars. went into a hardware for a tool and they had these on sale. for $18, i thought i would get a pair and if they break quickly, oh well, i got a few days out of them. Absolutely loved them and went back and bought the other 6 pair they had for Christmas presents for my children and grandkids! I would/do compare them to $250 pair I have!

I purchased these at a local tool store for about $22 I have to say I'm impressed even Congress with a case straps and lens covers. The view is about the same as my aculon A211 10x22x50 but at a fraction of the costs so the eyepiece might fog up a bit but it's really not bad for the money good fit bird watching or spying on a cheating spouse not for astronomy :)

I purchased these for star gazing. While there are better binoculars at higher prices these are quite reasonable for $25. At 1.75 pounds they are lighter than the Garrett 10X50s that I own. They are not as bright as the Garretts at night but they are fine during the day. The image is not as sharp to the edge as the Garretts but at 1/3 the price they work well.
For daytime viewing they are bright and present a good image. For astronomy use they work well. They come with a soft nylon carry case and a neck strap. The focus dial is smooth. I have better binoculars but I have recommended these to friends who are looking for a low cost pair to get them started in astronomy or for general daytime use.
