Not an Authentic FRYE Bag

Received in March 2018. Bag is not authentic. It is a counterfeit. No company label or insignia on flap. Inner label does not look like the ones on the Frye website. Materials seem cheap and no where near FRYE quality. Beware.

I wanted a large messenger bag suitable for laptop and travel. Although this is advertised as a men's bag, it's a great size for women as well. I was torn between the cognac and dark brown and decided to order the cognac at the lower price. When it arrived, although it was in the appropriate packaging, it had two huge scratches on the front flap. I know leather bags will scratch, but it's something I'd prefer to happen through use rather than already occurring in my brand new bag. When I went to return it I saw the prices had flip flopped and now the dark brown was lower priced. I decided to take a chance and replaced it with the dark brown bag. It is gorgeous and perfect. Also love that rich leather smell. A keeper.

This bag is a fake Frye bag. Leather is horrible quality and I don't even know if it is real leather. Bag does not have the Frye insignia. Returned and purchased a real one directly from Frye for the same price. Do not buy from this seller.
