Go with the bigger box, sturdy box

It's a surprisingly sturdy box. I keep my model train stuff in here and that involves several small plastic boxes that came with small parts (couplers). About 3 of these boxes, a 16' measuring tape, and a small box of small screw drivers is enough to fill the bottom portion.
The design of the box is tapered, so the bigger compartment under the tray is less wide than the tray, so for that reason I'd recommend people to buy the larger version (not the 12in box).
The clasp doesn't feel extraordinary tight/ snappy click as it did when I first got it, but I'm not worried about the box opening on its own.

This is perfect for what I need. I didn't use this as a toolbox, I use this for a medical kit. It fits everything we need, gauze, bandages, ointments, creams, tweezers, etc. Being a toolbox it is obviously sturdy and I am not worried about it breaking down. I bought this one because of the compact size and because it is clear which makes it easy to locate what you are looking for. We have been using this for about a year and I couldn't be happier. Perfect product. The only other thing I will mention is that mine came in orange rather than yellow. That was a surprise but I like the orange color more anyway but just as an FYI.

This is a solid strong box with a good latch. Reviews suggesting otherwise didn't get this box. I have no relationship with this company. I will order a couple more. Will use one to keep all of the bicycle tools in one place.

A very nice pick up and go toolbox for some of my most commonly used tools. No more losing or misplacing tools around the house for those small projects. My large, overly stocked tool boxes are too cumbersome to haul all around the house, but this one is already proving to be super convenient. Great product!
