very unsteady on the tripod...difficult to get on target and stay....lots of play in the settings....would not get his again! waste of time and $$
because I may not have put it to it''s best use. I was shooting relatively short range targets ...

I gave it three stars, partly to be fair, because I may not have put it to it''s best use. I was shooting relatively short range targets (25, 50 yds.) Maybe it's better a longer ranges, but I found the target very hard to locate; and the tripod and swivel mechanism are nearly useless for a steady hold on the subject. The optics( and I have used other scopes) are fair to middling. There seemed to be a lot of haze rather then a clear, crisp image. On the other hand, try to find a less expense spotting scope. You get what you pay for.

scope works great tripod poorly made not useable. Use tripod that I use for my chrono instead.
