Just like the ones I used as a kid. Not a toy. Give it to a 6 year old and you can kiss the cats neighbor goodbye. Seriously don't give it to a 6 year old.

We've been using the blowgun to get rid of pests. It's not to kill them but to stun them with blunt darts and it's been working well. Less cats and birds in the area now.

I purchased this as an inexpensive toy for camping and it works just as it should. My only complaint would be the mouth piece. It is pretty loose and doesn't stay on very well. I haven't fixed it yet but I imagine wrapping the cylinder with some electrical tape should fix the problem. Its not a huge deal but it isn't perfect. I only use this for target practice and have no idea how it would work for actual hunting.

I bought this expecting it to break after a week of use. This did not end up being the case. I have used it many of times and it hasn't given me issues. Heck the penetration the darts that come with it do for such a tiny blow is scary. If you get this product for a child be sure that you keep an eye on them while they do so as well as it out of their reach when it isn't in use. The good part of the darts however is they aren't both sharp ends when they come in a pack and you can choose if you want a blunt or sharp end for your shots. As well as the neon colored dart ends so you don't lose them. 5/5 would buy again.

At first i was a bit skeptical about the length of a blow gun, after reading about the Eagle Flight 24" I'm glad i did! this gun is the perfect size to carry, does not get in the way, yet long enough to be superbly accurate in any situation. you could (with enough practice) hit a fly on a wall from across the room with ease. i tied a band to my handlebars on my bike and take this to the local park to try and nab critters, bugs, frogs, you name it. Cicada season is the best though, just bring extra darts!!
