Worked in my G16 Lenox furnace
sdowney717✓ Verified Purchase•August 7, 2018
Even the wire numbers match to the original relay, so was an easy swap. On this Lennox, hardest part is removing the old relay. Have to unscrew entire large relay box mounted on side of cabinet to get to the relay attachment screws.
Works well but relay diagram has ERROR. Terminal 1 ...

Works well but relay diagram has ERROR.
Terminal 1 and 3 is coil
Terminal 4 - common
Terminal 5 - NC
Terminal 2 - NO
Because of the error in the diagram, I believe a lot of ppl gave 1-2stars. Others got lucky.
It just to show there's a scary amount of people are NOT competent to do these technical work w/o someone holding their hands.

Its a pretty generic relay

Its a pretty generic relay. Its nothing fancy. I use it so that I can utilize the low speed fan windings on my furnace. I have my air handler configured to run every now and then via a separate control box, and this is the relay I use. It got a lot of daily use since I got it, and its still working. It can't be that bad.
Not recommended until manufacturer corrects contamination on contacts

These relays gave me trouble at first. They would not make the circuit when switched on/closed. I would tap them with screw driver and then they would make the circuit. I was in a bind at a job where I was using them for switching in a HVAC system. I opened them and slid piece of paper back and forth on contacts and it cured the problem. I suspect contamination on the contacts. Since doing that they have performed flawlessly.
Used with nest gen 2

My house was built in the fifties and I'm converting it little by little to a smart home with substandard wiring. I have an old Williams milivolt wall heater that I just absolutely love but it just has the old style on off Mercury type of switch and converted it to a nest gen 2 in October. I needed to put a power supply and a relay to make this compatible with that heater and it works. There is an audible click and when the relay switches on but I've kind of gotten to like that because I know that might my heater is engaged .... great product
