Do not Buy!!! Mine isn’t working and I can’t get a refund after only 2 weeks!

I bought and have had this tweeze product for many years until I lost the plastic guard. I only used it now and again because it randomly will latch onto a hair no matter how many repeat passes, circles, and strokes in an area it doesn't get every hair. And, as far as being painless...not even close. Even though it doesn't grab everything and stings , I decided it was better than having to tweeze every hair, so I purchased another one.
Updated review: my new Emjoi doesn't work at all! I've had it for about 2 weeks and it says I can't return it to get my money back! Do not buy!

I have waxed it which is extreamly painful on my sideburns

I was cursed with horrendous amounts of facial hair. Being a woman and having this much facial hair is very uncomfortable and embarrassing. I have waxed it which is extreamly painful on my sideburns. I have used those wire turning epilator things which is torture. I've tweezed the dark hairs and left the blonde. I've shaved with a razor and trimmed with a trimmer. None of the results were good.
My face after using this product is SO SMOOTH! It hurt yes. But it hurt a hell of a lot less then waxing. I had already removed some hair before taking the photo on the left. I am only sharing this photo to show how well it works if used correctly! The photo on the right was taken immediately after I was done. No red dots nothing wrong with my skin. You have to hold it correctly and don't push it onto your skin.

Fantastic. I was using a large body epilator on my lip and it hurt so much more than this does (it is more powerful). It still feels like little rubber bands snapping your skin, but it's less painful than threading or waxing, in my opinion, and way cheaper and cleaner. It only hurts on the upper lip for me, I don't even feel it anywhere else I use it. Threading used to cost me $15 every time, so the savings are immediate. It didn't work well with the clear cap on, so I did like I do with my body epilator and took it off, and now it captures 95% of hairs. Just hold your skin tight and barely glide over and you won't need the cap. Read the instructions it came with or look online for instructions because there is a right and a wrong way to epilate. I love how tiny this is, that it is battery operated, and I can use it quickly and cleanly because it will make it easier to do it as often as needed to always have a shadow-free lip and get those chin hairs I can't see well enough to tweeze.

Dirty product. This item arrived today and as soon as I open it, I'm shock seeing hair on the item. It looks used and dirty. I'm attaching the photos. You'll see those little hairs on the tweezers.
This item is use as part of personal hygiene and who ever used it might be carrying some kind of skin disease or germs and whoever use this used product will get infected of whatever disease that the previous owner has. Please keep that in mind.
