Floppy to stiff. I love my antenna!!!

Just installed my chubby. Hardware seems strong and definitely does not flop all over the place as the OEM antenna. The fit was exact! Looks magnificat on a 20014 Jeep Patriot. Now the downfall; I lost one known station which happens to be my favorite, but I 100 percent much rather have lost a station than put the old looking 1995 antenna back on. I'm not a frequency guy, but I'm assuming if you install a stronger adapter that it should work as the OEM or better. Overall I am happy, thanks for the great product.

Love this thing. Recently bought a jeep patriot 2017 SE and hates that 1 yard long silver piece of crap sticking out the side of the car like pimple on a person's nose. I have not had any reception quality loses on the stations I currently listen to on the radio so I do not notice any difference. But even then, I would just listen to my ipod or the XM radio instead. Who listens to FM still? All those advertisements make your ears bleed and is controlled by the man to control your mind into buying random crap you do not need.
PS: Installation is very easy, just grab some pliers and towel. Wrap said towel onto the antenna and use pliers to detach the antenna from the mount (DO NOT TRY AND TURN ON THE BLACK BRACKET, THAT IS THE MOUNT) and then once you unaatach the antenna, simple twist this stubby little thing on.

Works great - it is stubby - no worries now about someone bending and breaking the "long" standard antennae which came with my Jeep. Works well - good reception.

This is great. I read in some of the reviews that the signal seemed to decrease but I want to comment on that. My experience is I didn't lose any signal strength, it also looks really good. I haven't experienced anything negative about it for the week I've had it. 5 stars for being exactly what it says it is and it works.

Looks great! Smaller than I originally pictured but SO much better than the stock antenna. I lost a couple stations (none that truly mattered since I mostly use my phone for music anyway) but that was to be expected going from a 3ft antenna to a 3inch.
