Perfect but expect much less reception

Product is great and fit perfectly. I expected some reception loss from the OEM antenna but didn't care since I use satellite radio most of the time. IMO I probably have ~30% of the reception of the OEM antenna... I'll keep this one since it looks great, but if I listened to more FM radio I'd probably buy one 7-12" instead of this 3" one.

Easy installation, wrench off the old one and screw this one in.
Makes my truck look more streamlined instead of the ungainly antennas sticking up and being prone to grab flying paper and car wash brushes .

Pleasantly Surprised

Considering how many poor reviews there are on this product, let's just say I was skeptical. I must say that I've been pleasantly surprised though. For $25 I figured, what the hell? I can take a chance. If I'm not happy I can always return it. Turns out I am very happy. I can pick up all of my local stations and I haven't noticed a change in how well. This antenna looks so much better than the stock one. I highly recommend anyone taking a chance on this product.
*On a side note. I do live in a city (OKC), so if you're in a very rural area, your results may differ from mine.

Looks good, installs quick and easy, but decreases reception. 1 of the only 3 stations i like is now pretty loud with static. But its worth it to me to get that ugly antique whip off my truck. I have ripped a ton of CDs and listen to digital mostly anyways.

Antenna arrived promptly and was packaged very well. I did notice a drop in reception of FM stations, but I usually have my radio on SIRIUS so reception of AM FM stations don't bother me. Great product and looks much better on my truck than the original equipment. Plus I can driver thru a car wash without removing this antenna.
