Heavy duty adapter. Well made. Adjustability on main tube is a nice feature.
Main insert tube is slightly loose in my receiver although my calipers measured 2.04" in both directions. My receiver is 2.06". I will also buy the clamp that removes the play. That $15 addition makes this price equal with others. I assume 2" receivers are made slightly oversize to accommodate a wider range of measurements for inserts.

Perfect for my roadtrip!

I bought this to mount to my front receiver hitch to raise my cargo basket. My basket has fishing rod holders and the surf rods were riding low and occasionally dragging in deep sand when on the beach. This really did the trick, raising the basket up enough that I didn't have to worry about damage to my fishing rods.
So far it is working pretty well!

I have a front mount receiver with a winch & cradle that I put on in the winter time just in case. But my truck (94 Chevy K1500) isn't the highest ground clearance vehicle and with the winch mounted it can basically become a mini plow! So I have always wanted something to raise the winch up but still allow me to "winch" if I need (meaning not those low grade risers meant to mount a bike on). This riser seemed to fit the bill and does so pretty well. My only negative is I can only use 2 out of the 3 holes (bottoms out on my receiver), would be nice to limit how far the winch sticks out but this will do! Also, not that it matters to me, but this is really made by Curt, came in a Curt box and has a Curt sticker on it (you can even see that sticker on the Amazon picture!
Nice Drop Receiver

I use this on my lifted GMC for a motorcycle rack at the tailgate where the bike rolls up perpendicular. The drop allows the correct roll of the bike up to the stand.
Strong insert iron with pretty tight fit not much slop. Would recommend.

Extremely well built. Solid piece of equipment

This thing is stout! Very heavy duty - nothing cheap or flimsy about it.
I bought this one after the 2" drop version I bought wasn't enough drop for my trailer. My 2" drop version is made by same maker and it is also very sturdy. That's why I went with the same maker/seller.
Anyway, the photos show the closed ends of the bar stock for the top portion of the hitch. It's solid metal which is why it's so heavy and durable. The welds look very substantial as well.
Very happy with this adapter/hitch offset.
