Excellent quality, works as specified. Easy to change temperatures, solid build quality, light enough to hold for extended use, comfortable grip. My only complaint would be the case is sort of generic. It's doesn't really "hold" the gun in place and accessories easily will fall out of the internal pocket. Not a deal breaker, but just noting it's not custom to fit the heat gun and accessories.

As an avionics tech, I've been using Steinel heat guns for a long time. This is a great mid grade model featuring digital temp control. Considering the only real feature the top tier model has that this one lacks is fan speed control, the price difference certainly makes this model the more practical of the two.
