I've had this bar hanging over the width of my tub on ceramic tile walls for about 11 days. We use heavier bath sheets (larger than towels) in the bath. This bar so far is doing an excellent job of staying in place. It doesn't seem loose at all. I've used other bars in the past and they've fallen into the tub. It's even holding the large bath sheets when they are damp after use.

These have been remarkable!! I got blackout curtains to block off parts of the house so we don't heat the whole thing for just the two of us to sit. These tension rods are solid and strong, and they don't slide when I move all the curtains to one side of the doorway for ease of passage when we are active. I wanted to get curtains for the closet doors in our room, so I got these again, in a different size, and am just as impressed. Thank you for such a quality product!!!
