Amazing Router Table Configuration

I spent quiet some time to compare router tables, routers and router lifts. Finally looked at Woodpecker and JessEm. Started to like the Woodpecker table a lot. Then I saw the Excel II and liked the concept of a separate hand wheel in comparison with a traditional router lift. I also liked the integration of the digital readout instead of an aftermarket second thought solution. Purchased this table a couple weeks ago at my local Woodcraft and added a 3 1/4 hp PorterCable router, PorterCable # 75182. The router table is very nice. Had to work a little bit on the fence to align the split fence since the material got stuck on the exit side. No big deal, probably just a little bit of dirt under the fence. The Wixey digital read out works well. It makes adjusting height easy and accurate without using height gauges. Dust collection works well. I have a large Oneida Dust Gorilla dust collector running to the underside of the table and with a shop vac on the fence. Catches a lot of dust, however, not dust free on heavy cuts. I also purchased the JessEm Clear Cut Guides and the Feather Boards. Both are easy to adjust and work well. The router is phenomenal. Used it with 3/4 inch bits and made cuts 10mm deep, did not bog down. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.

Bought a few parts for this table here on Amazon and some direct from the manufacturers site. Price shopping. Right.! I love this table. So easy to adjust. We tried another table but was a pain. But it you will love it.

Table top is fine. Support legs are not. Aside from not including all of the needed bolts for assembly, I needed to put casters on the legs for the table to be mobile. DO NOT PUT CASTERS on this product using the bolt holes at the base of the legs. The bottom of the legs pop out. THey are not welded and the interior nut is insufficient to hold a bolt caster. If you are like me and have already put the table together before you move it, you must then take the entire table apart so you can build an under carriage to support the table. While I am happy with the table top, the reason for the one star rating is the abysmal Customer Support. No response was ever received to my queries. A simple addition of a duplicate nut would have solved the problem. Total cost to them plus shipping, under $2.00. I would have gladly paid the bill if I could have only gotten a response. Nada. This should have been an easy product to assemble and put to work. It has been a nightmare.
