my baby had allergy to milk. doctor said soy is not ok for him. so we had to feed him Nutramigen. this stuff is expensive and is not covered by insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield). im deducting 1 star off for the price.

Both of our daughters had a cows milk allergen in which we found out through blood in their stools. We started our first daughter on the Similac brand but it caused a lot of gas and it was more expensive, so I switched to Nutramigen. We used it for a year and our daughter was happy and well fed. We started right away with Nutramigen again with our second baby and she has been happy, passing gas fine, and gaining the weight she needs to. The ready to feed is thicker than the powder formula. We tried the powder formula, but it was thinner and had more air bubbles from the prep shaking, so we stuck to the ready to feed. You can save money with the Amazon subscribe and save option! Would definitely recommend!
