This arrived in good condition. It was not perfectly polished but didnt have any rust either. I imagine a little time with a polishing cloth would have it looking like a mirror. I measured it to .00005 which is as good as my metrology tools will go. It was satisfactory in both diameter and roundness as far as i could measure. Is it really G25? doubtful, But mine was at least G50. Great value for $28.

When opening it I was a bit apprehensive as I've been really looking forward to getting it. I really wanted one with a SMOOTH finish. I was not disappointed! BEAUTIFUL ball of steel! Very smooth and very clean! Much heavier that it looks. Really cool. Using it as a "desktop toy". Would definitely buy it again!

Can't rusted. Chrome steel can certainly rust but it should have been better protected or even lubricated prior to selling. Must return
