It takes a little time to figure out how to use once the learning curve is over it's really easy. The counterweight is a blessing & keeps the "load" balanced. Very smooth, quiet operation. So far have done chicken and a beef roast. Both turned out delicious. Just remember to remove the BBQ grates & put drip pan underneath whatever is cooking & use an Ov-Gloove.

It's strong, sturdy and very quiet. I was wondering often whether it was still working. It's silent. My older unit you could from across the patio. If it holds up as long as my old one did, I'll be very happy.
