Works great, but it the threaded portion is not 1" ...

Works great, but it the threaded portion is not 1" PVC, it is 1-1/4". I made it work with a reducer fitting. Occasionally the plunger gets stuck causing it to stay open or closed, but a larger float would probably solve this

After years of fighting a solid brass (Expensive) valve, I finally broke down and replaced the whole mess with this: It was incredibly easy to install and adjust, in less than 5 minutes on my underground tank.
