When I first sprayed this, I mixed it with an insecticide to kill the fleas in my house. Immediately afterwards I still saw some fleas that the insecticide missed (or maybe *I* missed with my spraying). I kept meaning to spray again to finish them off, but then I noticed that the IGR started to take effect. Week after week the number of fleas started to diminish, until now, two months later, ALL the fleas are gone -- all from that one spraying.
I can say from experience that you can keep spraying insecticide and see the numbers go down, but this stuff sterilizes and gets rid of every last one.

we had such a bad infestation you couldn't walk in the yard without your legs being covered with them (we live in the country). we used this along with the conquer, once then repeated after 2 weeks it has been a year and we still have no fleas!!! we also have flea collars on our pets, but the yard continues to be flea free!! we have about an acre of land and this bottle lasted us several treatments indoors and out.

I got the cutest kitten from a family in a Walmart parking lot. That right there tells a story. Little did I know my little fur baby was full of fleas so after reading several reviews from alot of sources, I purchased this along with Ortho's bed bug and flea spray. I poured it straight in, no additional water and sprayed my entire house. Moved furniture, washed everything, vacuumed all this for a week. Fleas are gone! I had a horrible flea infestation when I moved into my rental house. I'd walk down stairs and get 20 fleas on my leg. Nothing from Walmart worked. Did some research and got this stuff and mixed it with some Tempo from Orchelns and it worked amazing within four weeks of spraying every 4 days, I wasn't seeing any fleas. Granted one or two pop up a couple weeks after, but that's just a sign to spray again. I don't have a single flea in my house now. This stuff is amazing!
