Placed an order on friday, Got it the next thursday. I had it shipped to the east coast, US.

To begin with, the shipping was perfect because the product came on time. The packing was absolutely perfect and secure, these guys are absolutely serious about their business. Comes with a sturdy case spacious enough to hold the tablas and the rings. The case was well padded on the inside and bubble wrapped on the outside.

Comes with:
1) The left Dhagga and the right Tabla.
2) Base rings for support.
3) Hammer for tuning.
4) Tabla top covers
5) Book on various bols and taals to be played on the tabla.

The tabla was a little out of tune, which is expected because It is brand new and it'll take some time for the tabla surface to mature, sound wise. They deliver exactly what they advertise and Im very very happy with the product.

I played the tabla for 10 years following a 10 year gap. Just started playing this today and it feels absolutely amazing. Im not sure what the other tablas out there advertise themselves as "Professional Tabla"'s for, this one is perfect for beginners and advanced players alike.

I ordered this tabla set for my 7 yr old son who just started to learn tabla.We wanted to give him something(definitely not a very expensive one,until he shows real interest and gets serious about perfecting his tabla skills) to practice at home.Tabla set is as described by the seller.It came in a neatly packaged box(It's okay,not a sturdy one)a tabla set(one heavy wooden dyan and one metal byan),base for each tabla(good ones),a book(nice & informative),fabric covers for each(both pink which i dislike)& a tuning hammer.
I ordered this mainly because it said 'student tabla' which I was looking for and the great reviews for the seller.
I was a bit apprehensive because there were no customer reviews for this product,but still went ahead and placed the order on 16th may 2012 and the item arrived on 22nd from India.Everything looks good to me(im no musician!)and my son started playing it as soon as he came back from school!He is excited to get it so soon!No shipping damages or anything of that sort.Will recommend to my other friends looking for the same.
I will further update this review based on what his teacher,an expert, has to say about the quality of this set.

Sounded okay for the price, not the best quality and kept going out of tune. I owned these for less than two months when one of the straps just popped off which makes it almost unusable.

Update:
Since writing this review the company reached out to me and sent me a replacement drum. Great customer service!

The drums came quickly (3 days after I had placed the order, which is pretty fast) and were very well packaged. I am enjoying playing them very much. It took a bit of trouble to tune them, but I was eventually able to tune them to C# (mostly my fault). Part of my trouble was I was not sure how to tune them till I did some research and I did some things to make it harder on myself. So just read up on it before you tune, and you should be fine. From what I can tell, the 8 small wooden pegs that come with this are used in conjunction with the larger pegs to tune the dayan. I am pretty satisfied with this purchase.

Edit: It seems C# was difficult for my set of drums to hold, so I tuned the Dayan to G# and it works much better. There are tambura drones on youtube in this key and others (C#, D, B) if you want something to practice with.
