I actually bought two of these - tan for my husband, and the hot leaf for myself. These are very well made and nice looking pommel bags. Ordinary water bottles do not work well in them, however. I bought plastic, canteen type bottles which fit perfectly, but added another $10 each to cost. I also removed the insulated pockets to make the pouches roomier.

Nice bags but not really big enough. I have just a map, my Epi pen, and phone along with a small can of deet on the pocket side and it's not deep enough to handle the can of deet. Not a manufacture flaw but in hindsight I would get a bigger bag. The water bottle spot is perfect.

Great product, very well made. The only issue I have and it is a small one, the velcro. The placement of the velcro for the drinks and the securing straps get caught on my reigns unless they are completely secured. Not a big deal really, more of a hassle sometimes, but I think a button or magnet design would have worked better considering the amount of hair and rope is used around horses. I may sew a magnet in this area just to avoid the velcro altogether.

Great for day rides. Well constructed. I like the wide opening at the top of the bottle holder which gives me a greater choice of liquid containers. I use a stainless steel container that has a wide mouth and it fits perfectly. The insulated pouch on the other side is a bit narrow so dont try and stuff a triple decker sandwich inside. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase.

Bought this to use on a 2 weeks horse packing trip. I love that one side is for a water bottle, and the other side for a small camera, snack, and sun screen. Fits well on the pommel without moving around or getting in my way.
