The shoe itself seems fine. I was looking for something reasonably priced that would work for my 6 year old. Trying to determine what size to buy was a guessing game. I had to return the ones initially purchaed and had to buy a full size smaller than her street shoe size. Once I had the correct size length wise it still seemed they were slightly wide. Although I don't think it will pose a problem.

My daughter is between 11.5-12. I bought here these in a 12 and they are a little big. I got her another brand in 11.5 and her toes comfortably tough the edge. I'll hold onto these 12's until she completely out grows the others.

Definitely should have sized down like most other reviewers suggested. I ordered her current slipper size which is way super small on her and these still have a bout another set of toes space extra in them. Well at least we won't need new slippers for a while. Depending on how fast she keeps growing!
