YAS I finally got my dream backpack!

I love it! I finally got the backpack that I wanted throughout the year! The color came out just as I wanted, and it's perfect to carry it with me to school. Fortunately, I got a genuine one, not a fake one. The material feels quite stiff though, and it wrinkles easily. But it's waterproof, so it's perfect for rainy days! Another problem is that the straps are too thin, and wearing the backpack for a long period of time can hurt your shoulders.
There are so many colors ugh I can't decide and I wish I got more colors! But I chose Fog for now, and I'm satisfied. Although I think the backpack was too expensive in my opinion, looks like it can be sold for under $50!
I really want the kanken mini now~

I think I expected this to be a little bigger -- like a standard backpack size

I have this version as well as a kid's version for my daughter. I think I expected this to be a little bigger -- like a standard backpack size, however it's still pretty petite. It still can fit a lot, however. I managed to get my 15'' laptop and case inside of it, but I think I just expected a different size.
Nice backpack that will last for years to come.

My daughter loves this backpack. I think the main reason is that she is the only one that has one at her school. It is made of quality canvas. The only thing I don't like about it is the shoulder straps are very narrow. If you have some weight in the backpack the straps are not very comfortable. Just my own observation. My daughter doesn't complain about the straps.
Love it - check out price and color combos before ordering

Like other reviewers, I was a little disappointed at first. The bag looked small, and stiff and cheaply made out of the package. I have had it for three weeks now and I love it! It stays in a nice box shape, even with a variety of odd shaped stuff in it. A couple of things to consider: 1) It is a smaller backpack. If you are a larger adult it may look like a kid's pack on you. 2) the straps are narrow, which I like, but some people may not, and 3) spend time and look at all the different price and color combinations. The prices vary quite a bit. I knew I wanted a gold or orange pack. I found this earthy orange, which I love, for $20 less than the others.
Love

My daughter returned from studying in France and had to have one of these since "all of the college kids in France had one". She absolutely loves it and uses it all the time.
