Love these muffins
P. J. Scott✓ Verified Purchase•June 29, 2018
My family ate almost all of them. My husband has recently gone off sugar, I have a daughter on low carb and I've been Keto since December. I've tried the strawberry muffin which I liked but actually thought was too sweet for my tastes. I bought the marble muffin because I was really craving something close to a cake, especially chocolate. I really like the marble! I tasted a piece when it first arrived, and gave a piece to several family members. It was apparently a hit because I've had 1 muffin since, and the other 4 were eaten by my family. I'm really happy to have a replacement muffin for my husband who always bought blueberry, poppyseed and other muffins from Costco and now can't. I also bought the cinnamon which is also good. So far, the marble is the one I've liked the best. We just kept them refrigerated but they arrived a week ago and the marble is gone and the cinnamon is still fresh and good just being refrigerated.
Great Taste!

Great Muffins! I got the Cinnamon.
Flavor is nice with a pleasant touch of Cinnamon.
I like to cut it open and smoother in pure Butter! YUMMMMMMM!
Overall Summary:
√. Great Taste
√. Satisfying
√. Lasted with ease 2 months in my freezer
√. I did not have any trouble with shipping. Mine arrived in excellent condition.
It is just me eating them and I only wanted the occasional treat. I decided to freeze the container and only pull out one when I wanted.
I did not do anything special, just literally put the plastic container they came in inside the freezer. Please note, I do not have any ice build up nor any strange odors in there. My freezer is small and it holds mostly a few sealed packages of bacon. That being said, I was not too concerned about freezing them.
Word to the wise... let it totally thaw before eating for best flavor. Here are the two ways I let them thaw: set in refrigerator overnight and I also set on counter under a cheese dome. BTW they last pretty well under the cheese dome. I live in East Texas, it has been warm here this summer. I keep my house around 80 degrees. I let it sit about 2 days and it was still fresh!
Will I purchase them again? Yes
Would I recommend them? Yes

Expensive, But So Worth It If You Don't Want To Make Your Own Low-Carb Treats

If you're on a low-carb diet, or maintain a low-carb or sugar-free lifestyle, then these muffin are a lifesaver!
They actually taste good! They're not as greasy or rich as Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, but when you're craving a sweet treat and don't want the sugar or carbs, these definitely hit the spot. This is my third time ordering the chocolate muffins. I'd order a box every month, but they do happen to be quite pricey. There are a lot of great recipes online for making your own low carb chocolate muffins, so if you're short on cash I recommend that option. I keep these as a back-up for when I want a treat but don't have the time, will-power, or ingredients to make something myself.
They hold up well in the fridge, but if you are going to freeze them I recommend putting the whole container into a double gallon-sized ziplock bag and doing so, to prevent frost from creeping in through the box and settling on top of the muffins. Even with the lid closed, the container that comes with the muffins aren't the best for freezer storage. The best approach might be vacuum seal if you can manage if without breaking down the muffins. Otherwise, wrapping each in wax paper and them double-bagging them into separate sandwich sized baggies might be the best move. The movies really do taste great, but if you're going to freeze them without proper care, they'll get yucky and stale.
Pro-tip 1: warm a muffin in the microwave for 20-30 seconds (depending on how powerful your microwave is), and then have with a glass of milk (or almond milk, half&half, or even 3 tbsp heavy cream if you're on keto).
Pro-tip 2: For super-duper yumminess, make your own frosting and coat the muffin with it: 2oz cream cheese in the microwave for 15 seconds, and then mash with 1 tbsp of cream, 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract (optional), and 1-3 tbsp of erythritol, and then spread on defrosted muffin while still warm. This forms a delicious vanilla frosting for the muffin!

... don't care what anyone says they do not taste like chocolate muffins

I don't care what anyone says they do not taste like chocolate muffins. I even tried heating it up and putting butter on it. YUCK! I've lost 130 pounds on low carb diet in the past year and a half and have eaten a lots of things that were low carb that were delicious and this is nowhere near delicious. They are so expensive once you get done with the shipping and so not worth it.
I feel like that always messes up my digestion
Obsession✓ Verified Purchase•January 5, 2016
These are really tasty when I eat them but at the end I just couldn't deal with the after taste and feeling of the sugar alternative used. It is this weird cooling feeling in the mouth and then then weird sensations start after a while. By the time I finished the whole box (over a period of 10 days), I got sick of that feeling and the cooling sensation and after taste even though it is mild. I am also not into eating products heavy in nut flours. I feel like that always messes up my digestion. This might be great for serious low carb eaters but not for me. Besides they are really expensive.
