Disappointed
Selfie_queen_cyndinails•November 24, 2016
I am very disappointed, but I don't know what I expected for the price, I got what I paid for. All 3 brushes arrived today broken. And on top of that, the brush covers are almost impossible to remove. I tried to remove the covers to see if it was possible to glue the heads of the brushes back onto the handles because the covers were in the way of me glueing them back together properly. Anyway, I should have read the reviews before buying them. I had bought another set of inexpensive brushes that weren't great, but I thought that maybe these would be different because they looked so thin. But again, the quality was cheap and that is way the metal must have bent so much that in the midst of delivery they broke. I would not tecommemd these to anyone because they arrived broken, that is never good. From now on I will pay for better quality and not cut corners to try and save money because I now have to pay for good nail art brushes anyway.
Great tiny brushes (just a few issues)
vanilllacoke•June 30, 2016
These were very, very inexpensive so I didn't expect much. The actual brushes are very tiny for great fine detail work and I like the quality of the bristles. I use them with nail polish, which is very harsh... and regular acrylic paints. They work just fine after many cleanings with not just water, but alcohol and even acetone. Only two or three bristles have fallen out which is to be expected.
The reason I give 3 of 5 stars is that they arrive in bad shape. All three metal ferrules had come unglued. I had to reglue them to the wooden handles. The plastic bristle covers were on the ferrules so tightly that I had to slice them with a craft knife to remove them.. which means I can't really use the covers anymore so I have to store the brushes bare.
(Note that the black paint on my handles has been stripped partially from acetone use... totally expected this, as they're not made to be used with acetone... it's normal! I really don't hold it against them and partially stripped the handle in anticipation before I even used them). I'm just glad the bristles are fine with acetone.

Good Supplemental Brushes for Painting Miniatures!
Cedric•February 8, 2016
I paint miniatures, and use these brushes for painting with metallic paint, which you don't want to use with your expensive $15 hobby brushes. While one of the brushes immediately hooked, it was still useful enough to paint small details with. While I wouldn't rely upon these brushes like I do with my hobby ones, they work just fine with metal. The low price makes them worth a try.
EDIT: One of the brushes "split", but for the price, I'll just buy another set.
EDIT EDIT: Another brush is holding up quite well! Very minor hooking, better than synthetic stipplers. Glad I picked up these brushes!!!

Not what's pictured, but it worked
OkinawanMatt•December 28, 2015
I bought this as a Christmas gift to someone who had it on their Amazon Wish List. I didn't even realize they were for nail painting, as it was a rushed order. I was surprised to see that they were not as pictured; the tips were wider, each brush had no markings/writings so you couldn't tell what was what unless you held them all side-by-side. I want to dock a few stars for this, especially if I receive something that's not as pictured, but the recipient said it was perfect for her needs. It also arrive undamaged with end-caps to keep the brushes safe, so I guess I can give it a commendation for that.
These brushes are perfect for what I need them for
Chelsea•July 28, 2015
These brushes are perfect for what I need them for! I mainly use them for super fine detail work on my nails and I like that they are still enough to stay together and not create very small, wispy lines where I do not want them.
The brushes themselves are easy to clean, even with glitter dried on them.
I have not noticed any fallout from the bristles and the design of the brush allows the head to stay attached. The head itself feels very secure.
I have also used 1 of the brushes for eyeliner and it worked great for that purpose, so I actually use it only for eyeliner.
