This is perhaps the best product of its kind that I've tried to date, and I've tried about 5 different brands. It doesn't leave any visible residue in my hair following application and has no discernible odor. However, if you apply too much you may notice some lingering waxiness in your hair even after shampooing. But it will wash away completely by the 2nd or 3rd day usually.
Wax sticks are the only way to go for me with all my cowlicks and nappy alfalfa sprouts. And one stick typically lasts at least two years!

I've went thought and tried as many of these stick waxes as I can find on Amazon. This is one of the better ones. I use this to smooth down my beard. Since I mainly use it on my beard, smell is an important part of any of these products. This has by far the most mild smell out of any that I've experience (trust me, having any strong smell on your mustache will make you sick of it quickly). It smells kind of like a light vanilla mint scent. The hold is about medium, but a good everyday product.

This product is quite interesting to say the least, I feel rather odd rubbing a deodorant shaped stick of wax all over my head. However, this product does it's job amazing, as it delivers an extremely well hold for your hair, and supposedly it's actually healthy for your hair as well. Also, this product will last you a very long time as you really do not need much in your hair for it to work.

I've used this wax for many years. It's strong enough that it holds my spikes in place but I'm still able to dampen my hands to refresh my style .Washes out easily with shampoo. Does not build up in my hair like other wax sticks do.
