Solid good tool. Saw reviews saying that they got the wrong bit size. Mine was labeled wrong but on inspection I discovered the bit inside was the correct one. I used it on 7075 aluminum and it DID NOT FAIL. I used a Cheap Router from harbor freight and the bit is still sharp and straight. I plan to order more of these in the future in case of operator error and I break this one. I highly recommend this bit.

First one purchased I was sent an empty plastic container, looking at the container it stated 3/8" end mill bit. Received a replacement today and end mill bit was in container but also was a 3/8" end mill bit. Product description of the Item I had purchased is for "Kodiak Cutting Tools KCT136475 USA Made Solid Carbide End Mill, Long, 4 Flute, 1/4" Shank, 1" Length of Cut, 4" Overall Length, 1/4" Diameter" wrong part number listed so if you are looking for a 1/4" dont get this one

Worked great for my lowers, much better than the same priced one I got from the store. Only got 2 lowers with it, but thats all I needed it for. If I have a desire to make another one I'll just buy another bit.

The first pass on a "project" the tool lost some metal on the flutes, mostly operator error, but I would think that it was made of stronger material. I discovered that you need to cut only a small amount at a time, move CLOCKWISE, and above all take your time. I will buy this product again because it is the most economic alternative I have found.
