These are awesome to hang a bike. My 9 year old son has no problem lowering the bike to get it. Bringing it back up is simple for an adult, but my son needs some help.
It's a great space saver.
The ropes get worn pretty quickly, but we use it every day. I think at some point I will need to replace them.
Hint: Be sure not to pull the bike to the absolutely highest it can go. Leave a few inches of rope so you can release it to come down.

Good product for the price

A good product for the price. It works well and will help store your bike. Two criticisms: The pulley's are made of plastic and seem a bit small for the pulley frames. I wish they were a bit larger and made of metal. Also, the instructions do not explain how to thread the rope through the locking mechanism - it takes some trial and error. Nonetheless, it works and you should be pleased with this product.

This bike mount is better better than others, it comes with a more durable rope!
Nice system just don't let the rope get loose on the pulleys or you will be getting the ladder out.

The hardware that came with the mounts was nice. All pieces lift the bike nicely. I have all five installed and all of the bike are in the air. The brake mechanism was a nice feature. It has been holding the bikes securely in place since before Christmas. The only con is the size of the pulleys. It the pulleys would have been wider then you would not have the problem of the rope slipping off every so often.
