It ok for the money. Has to be put together just right and tracks are a little difficult.

Kinda small, like not that many pieces and the bin itself seems small. Just a bit underwhelmed

I was a bit nervous when I bought this, because some of the reviews said that the tracks didn't fit together well, but I did not have this problem at all. The tracks wiggle a bit when they are put together, but no more than any other wooden train set. Plus, the tracks in a wooden train set should be a bit loose, because that makes it easier to set up different configurations. The tracks connecting to the bucket top were very snug, almost too snug. I definitely prefer this over a loosely fitting bucket top though, as that would cause the mountain tracks to fall apart all the time.
We ended up chipping the wood on one of the tracks trying to attach it to the mountain, but luckily the piece is still usable. While the plastic bucket top mountain seems to be a snug fit, all of the wooden pieces are likely compatible with other wooden train sets. We mixed them with a Tiny Conductors set with no problems, and I plan on purchasing other brands, like Thomas and Friends, to go with it in the future.

Like the other reviews said, the trains are not the greatest and do not stay on the tracks very well, so don't expect much in that department. We ended up using different sized hot wheels cars on the tracks instead. Thanks to the other reviews, I expected the trains to be crappy when I bought the set, so I am not disappointed. Assembly was not too difficult, but the instructions were unclear about which length of straight pieces should go where, so I give it 4 out of 5 stars for assembly. Overall, it's not a perfect product, but the bucket top mountain and other pieces are really fun, and I think it's a great purchase for the price. I especially like how unique some of the pieces are, like the mountain and the rock quarry, which was my main reason for purchasing it. I think those unique pieces will make it fun to play with again and again. I am already planning to buy one of the other sets from this brand when I have the money for it.

This is a nice train set with lots of pieces. You also get a good amount of pieces for the price. My 2.5 year old son was super excited to play with it after I put it together following the very specific directions. However, I took away 1 star because the plastic container it came in was absolutely destroyed and in a million sharp plastic pieces. Without having the container, it sort of defeats the purpose of being able to put everything away nice and neat. Luckily I have other containers. I also took another star away because you have to push very hard to get the wood pieces to connect with the plastic pieces. I accidentally also put a piece in the wrong way and when I went to pull it out, a small piece of the wood train track broke off. Poor quality then if it so easily broke off. Overall it's an okay set and my son will enjoy it but I don't think I will be buying from this brand again.

It's a great set for my almost 3-year-old. It came with a visual instruction on how to build the train set; it was easy to assemble even though the parts aren't labeled.

The tracks fits well and a toddler can build their own tracks easily. Though some of the tracks doesn't lay perfectly; it still lays flat enough for the trains to pass through without any issues. The wooden tracks are clean and smooth.

I docked off a star because the magnets that connects the train aren't strong enough. They don't stay together especially uphills. However, I've read that there are other trains you can buy that is compatible. One of the best feature is that you can fit all parts in the bucket after playing. There's no need to worry about storage.

I highly recommend but I would wait for a sale to buy this.
