Good for what I wanted. If you are real good you could just cut the tip of the caulk and go from there. These make it easier and if used properly not hard to reuse.

Had one of these items before but lost it. Handy for changing size of application and seals well between use.

Could not use it - plastic cracked when I tried to screw it onto a tube nozzle. It should be made of metal to make threads in the plastic of a caulk tube nozzle. Waste of money.

I bought this item from Ace Hardware, the idea is great, however assembling the unit on a caulk tube is difficult.
I did manage to get the first part screwed on and after assembling it, it worked very well.
I had 3 sizes of beads and the end cap sealed the caulk perfectly No drying out and very easy to use and change bead sizes..
When I used up all the caulk, transferring the unit to a new tube caused the first part to crack, making it useless.
Ace did exchange it for a new one. I am going to try and warm up the caulk tube the next time I have to put it on a new cartridge.
I really like the idea, but it needs improvement. I will update this review if I find an easy way to put it on a new cartridge.

Cap would not screw on the caulk tube so I had to hold the cap on to the tube while trying to caulk around the tub. I had one big mess. I would have been better to just cut the caulk tube at a 45 degree angle and just caulk the tub the old way. I would not recommend this product.
